Section 59(1) in The Maharashtra District Planning Committee (Election) Rules, 1999
(1)The packets referred to in rule 57 shall be retained for a period of one year and shall thereafter be destroyed subject to any direction to the contrary given by the Commissioner or a Court or other Competent Authority.
