251. The provisions of this Part of this Act shall apply in relation to appointments to, and to persons serving on, the staffs of the High Commissioner for India and the Auditor of Indian Home Accounts as if the service of members of those staffs were service rendered Home in India:
Provided that-(a)appointments to the staff of the Auditor of Indian Home Accounts shall be made by him subject, as respects numbers, salaries and qualifications, to the approval of the Governor-General in his discretion; and(b)in relation to that staff the functions of the Governor-General under this Part of this Act shall be exercised by him in his discretion.GOI.252
