- The Principal or Headmaster of every Government Professional College or High/Higher Secondary School should estimate the amount likely to be raised during the current year from subscriptions among the students or from private sources for the maintenance of the athletic club attached to it, and should provide for a Government contribution of an equal amount in the budget estimates for or the succeeding year. At the beginning of the financial year, if the funds at the disposal of the Department are sufficient, each institution will receive a contribution in aid of the athletic club equal to the budget provision or the actual receipts from private sources in the preceding year, whichever is the smaller sum.(G.
