Section 78(4) in The Bihar Panchayat Raj Act, 2006
(4)Social Justice Committee shall perform functions relating to(a)Promotion of educational, economic, social, cultural and other interests of Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and other weaker classes,(b)Protection of such castes and classes from social injustice and all forms of exploitation and(c)welfare of women and children
