23. Directors.
(1)The Directors of the institutes shall be appointed by the Vice Chancellor with the approval of the Council in such manner and on such terms and conditions as may be prescribed.(2)The Directors shall assist the Vice Chancellor in managing the academic, administrative and other affairs of the institutes and shall exercise such powers and perform such functions as may be prescribed or entrusted to them by the Vice Chancellor.
