Section 10 in The East Punjab Holdings (Consolidation and Prevention of Fragmentation) Act, 1948
10. Valuation of fragment.
- Any owner of a fragment who intends to sell it shall make an application in this behalf to the Collector for determination of its market price and the Collector shall, after hearing the applicant and the owners of the contiguous survey number or recognised sub-divisions of survey members, determine the market price, and such determination shall be final and conclusive for the purposes of this chapter.
