17. Devolution of property left by Nambudri male intestate.
- On the death, intestate of a Nambudri male, his property which is self-acquired or separate shall, subject to the provisions of section 30 of the [Tamil Nadu] [Substituted for the word 'Madras' by the Tamil Nadu Adaptation of Laws Order, 1969, as amended by the Tamil Nadu Adaptation of Laws (Second Amendment) Order, 1969.] Marumakkattayam Act, 1932, [Tamil Nadu] [Substituted for the word 'Madras' by the Tamil Nadu Adaptation of Laws Order, 1969, as amended by the Tamil Nadu Adaptation of Laws (Second Amendment) Order, 1969.] Act XXII of 1933) devolve in the order and according to the rules contained in sections 18, 19 and 20.
