Section 29(1) in The Alipurduar University Act, 2018
(1)There shall be the following Councils for Undergraduate Studies:-(i)the Council for Undergraduate Studies in Arts, Fine Arts, Performing Arts and Traditional Art Forms;(ii)the Council for Undergraduate Studies in Science, Technology, Home Science, and Vocational Studies;(iii)the Council for Undergraduate Studies in Commerce, and Management;(iv)the Council for Undergraduate Studies in Law, Education, Journalism and Mass Communication, Library Science and Physical Education; and(v)such other Council for Undergraduate Studies as the Executive Council may decide from time to time.
