Date : 22.09.2025 Heard Mr. M. Dutta, learned counsel for the petitioner. Also heard Mr. R. Sarmah, learned standing counsel for the respondents.

Mr. Dutta, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the grievance of the petitioner, being sought to be addressed in this petition, has already been addressed by the respondent authorities and as such, nothing is left to be decided in this petition and accordingly, this petition may be closed. Mr. Dutta has also produced a copy of e-mail, dated 16.09.2025, addressed to the petitioner by the respondent authorities, wherein it is indicated that the petitioner has provisionally been shortlisted for admission to Master of Arts in Peace and Conflict Studies - Guwahati Campus.

Taking note of the submission of Mr. Dutta, learned counsel for the petitioner, and also taking note of the e-mail, dated 16.09.2025, sent by the respondent authorities to the petitioner, this Court is inclined to close this petition.

Accordingly, this writ petition stands closed.

A copy of the e-mail, dated 16.09.2025, produced by Mr. Dutta, shall be marked as 'X' and tagged with the record.
