10. Appointment of Commissioner.
(1)The State Government shall appoint an officer not below the rank of a Deputy Secretary to Government, to be the Commissioner of the Authority.(2)The Commissioner shall receive such salary and other allowances as the State Government may, from time to time, determine. The conditions of service of the Commissioner shall be governed by the Karnataka Civil Service Rules.(3)The State Government may, from time to time, grant leave of absence for such period as it thinks fit to the Commissioner.
