Section 2(24) in The Greater Noida Industrial Development Area Building Regulations, 1992
(24)"Drain" with its geometrical variations means a line of pipes including all fittings and equipments, such as manholes, inspection chambers, traps, gullies and floor traps used for the drainage of a building or a number of building or yards appurtenant to the building within the same curtilage and includes open channels used for conveying surface water.
