Section 10(2) in Gujarat Panchayats (Second Amendment) Act, 1963
(2)On receipt of the information under sub-section (1), the competent authority shall as soon as possible appoint from persons qualified to be co-opted for the respective seats such persons as are necessary to make up the required number and the persons so appointed shall be deemed to have been duly coopted by the relevant panchayat. The names of the members be appointed shall be published by the appointing authority in the prescribed manner.
