Section 49(1) in The West Bengal Factories Rules, 1958
(1)No person shall be allowed to operate a crane, locomotive, [dumper, dozen, lorry, tractor, etc.] fork-lift truck, or to give a signal to a crane or locomotive operator unless his eye sight and colour vision have been examined and declared fit by a qualified ophthalmologist to work whether with or without the use of corrective glasses.
