6. Term of office and conditions of service.
(1)Notwithstanding anything contained in section 7, the Chairman and every other nominated member shall hold office during the pleasure of the State Government and their conditions of service shall be such as may be prescribed.(2)Subject to the provisions of sub-section (1), the Chairman and every other nominated member shall hold office for three years from the date of nomination, but they shall be eligible for re-nomination.(3)The Chairman or any other nominated member may at any time resign his office by a letter of resignation addressed to the State Government:Provided that the resignation shall not take effect until it is accepted.
