Section 321(3) in Gauhati Municipal Corporation Act, 1971
(3)If a birth or death occurs in the hospital, none of the persons mentioned in sub-section (1), or as the case may be, in sub-section (2) shall be bound to give information required by that sub-section, but it shall be the duty of the medical officer-incharge of the hospital within twenty-four hours after the birth or death, to send to the Medical Officer of Health a notice containing such particulars as may be required by bye-laws made in this behalf.
