Section 257(1) in The Chhattisgarh Municipal Corporation Act, 1956
(1)The Corporation may and when required by the Government shall fix places, either within or with the approval of the Government without the limits of the city for the slaughter of animals or of any specified description of animals for sale, and may with the like approval grant and withdraw licences for the use of such premises, or if they belong to the Corporation may charge rent or fees for the use of the same.
