(2)Suitable arrangements shall be made at every mine for the proper storage and maintenance of every plan and section and of all instruments and materials and such arrangements shall provide for flat storage of every plan and section maintained under these regulations:Provided that where special conditions exist the Chief Inspector may by an order in writing, permit storage and maintenance of plans and section in any other form subject to such conditions as he may specify in the order.
