123. Finding of insanity.
- Where the court finds either that the accused, by reason of unsoundness of mind, is incapable of making his defence, or that he committed the act alleged but was by reason of unsoundness of mind incapable of knowing the nature of the act or that it was wrong or contrary to law, the presiding officer or in the case of Summary Security Guard Court the officer holding the trial, shall affix his signature and the date on the finding which shall also be signed by the Judge Attorney and thereupon the proceedings shall, at once, be transmitted to the confirming authority or in the case of Summary Security Guard Court to the Deputy Inspector-General empowered to countersign them.
