Section 7(e) in Kerala University of Fisheries and Ocean Studies Act, 2010
(e)to hold examinations and to confer degree and other academic distinctions for persons who shall have pursued approved courses of study in the University, College or School unless exempted therefrom in the manner prescribed and shall have passed the prescribed examination of the University or shall have carried on research satisfactorily under conditions as may be prescribed and which has been duly evaluated;
