Section 18(ii) in The U.P. Electricity Supply (Consumers) Regulations, 1984
(ii)The sales tax, electricity duty, excise duty or any other levy by whatever name called, levied by the Government or any other competent authority on the energy supplied to the consumer from the supplier, shall be paid by the consumer.
