Section 14(11) in First Statutes of the Indian Institute of Petroleum and Energy, 2018
(11)The Director shall have the power of Head of Department for purposes of rules in the Account Code, the Fundamental and Supplementary Rules and other rules of the Government of India in so far as they are applicable or may be made applicable to the conduct of the business of the Institute.
