After the matter was argued at some length, we find it appropriate to dispose of the writ petition by providing that the objections which have been raised by means of the present writ petition are left open to be agitated before the appropriate forum after the elections are over.
The apprehension expressed by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the elections may be postponed again so as to admit further members within the electoral college appears to be unfounded.
We hope and trust that no further postponement of the elections shall take place and the Senior Superintendent Police Officer, Allahabad is requested to provide necessary police help on the date, the elections have now been fixed.
The writ petition is disposed of with the aforesaid observations.
