UPON hearing the counsel the Court made the following O R D E R
1. Permission to file the Special Leave Petition is granted.
2. The prayer made in the present petition is for cancellation of bail already granted to respondent No.2/Shubham Chauhan by the High Court vide order dated 27th August, 2025. The case arises out of FIR No.417 of 2024 dated 30th September, 2024 registered at Police Station Ahraula, District Azamgarh, Uttar Pradesh.
3. At the very outset, it was pointed out by the learned counsel for the parties that the trial is at the fag end as the case is now listed for recording evidence of the last prosecution witness.
4. Learned counsel for respondent No.1-State submitted that thereafter the statement of the accused has to be recorded under Section 351 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023. She submitted that the trial itself is likely to be concluded within a period of two months from the next date of hearing fixed before the Trial Court.
5. Considering the aforesaid facts, we do not find any reason to interfere with the impugned order passed by the High Court. The Special Leave Petition is accordingly dismissed.
6. Pending applications shall also stand disposed of.
