36. Selection Committee for the Teachers and Others Academic Staff of The University.
(1)The teachers and other academic staff Mahe University shall be appointed by the Vice-Chancellor on the recommendation of the Selection Committee, and the constitution of the Selection Committee as well as the procedure for holding its meetings shall be in consonance with the Recruitment Rules framed by the State Government from time to time.(2)The nominee of the Vice-Chancellor shall be the head of the Selection Committee, which shall send its recommendations in writing to the Vice-Chancellor along with reasoned record of assessment of the persons appeared before it for selection.
