4. Source of Recruitment.
(1)Of the non-gazetted ex-cadre technical posts mentioned in Appendix 'A', those of Draftsman-cum-Surveyor, Surveyor-cum-Draftsman, Photographer-cum-Draftsman or Photographer and Estimator-cum-Draftsman are the juniormost posts in rank, pay-scale and status. All these posts are of equal rank.(2)The Head of the Department shall constitute a Selection Committee as per the latest circular issued by the Appointment Department in this behalf, namely, No. 1918, dated 28th January, 1976. If there be any modification in future in the procedure by the Department of Personnel and Administrative Reforms, then the modified procedure will be applicable here also.
