Section 8(1) in Indian Institute of Public Health Gandhinagar Act, 2015
(1)The President shall be a person of eminence having distinguished himself in his field, and preferably in the field of public health, public administration, health and medical or allied fields or social service. He shall be a person of vision and subscribe to the objectives and philosophy of the University and shall be deeply interested in academics.
