Section 66 in The Punjab Excise Act, 1914

66. Penalty for consumption in chemists shops etc.

(1)If any chemist, druggist, apothecary or keeper of a dispensary allows any intoxicant which has not been bona fide medicated for medicinal purposes to be consumed on his business premises by any person not employed in his business, he shall be punishable with imprisonment for a term which may extend to three months [and with fine which may extend to one thousand rupees.] [Substituted for the words 'or with fine which may extend to one thousand rupees, or with both', by Punjab Act 35 of 1956, Section 5.]
(2)If any person not employed as aforesaid consumes any such intoxicant on such premises, he shall be punishable with fine which may extend of two hundred rupees.
