Section 25(h) in Tamil Nadu National Law School Act, 2012
(h)to confer degrees or other academic distinctions on persons who -(i)shall have pursued an approved course of study or training in a college or in an approved institution, unless exempted therefrom in the manner prescribed by the regulations and shall have passed the examinations prescribed by the School; or(ii)shall have carried on research under conditions prescribed by the regulations;
