Section 385(1)(a) in The Orissa Municipal Corporation Act, 2003

(a)prohibit vehicular traffic in any particular public street vesting in the Corporation so as to prevent danger, obstruction or in convenience to the public by fixing up posts at both ends of such street or portion of such street; and
