Disaster Management (Term of office and conditions of service of Members of the State Authority and Pay and Allowances to Members of Advisory Committee) Amendments Rules, 2010Published vide Notification No 2/Astha-Rajpatrit/Aa Pra Praa- 07/2008-1257-Aa Pra Praa, 18th May, 2010, Bihar Gazette (Extraordinary) No. 21, dated 26 May, 2010Notification No 2/Astha-Rajpatrit/Aa Pra Praa- 07/2008-1257-Aa Pra Praa. - In exercise of Powers conferred by Section 14 of the Disaster Management Act, 2005 (53 of 2005), the Governor of Bihar is pleased to make the following amendment in Disaster Management (Term of office and conditions of service of Members of the State Authority and Pay and Allowances to Members of Advisory Committee) Rules, 2008.

1. Short Title, extent and commencement.

- (i) This Rule may be called Disaster Management (Term of office and conditions of service of Members of the State Authority and pay and Allowances to members of Advisory Committee) Amendments Rules, 2010.
(ii)This Rule shall come into effect from the date of publication in the Official Gazette.

The following sub-rule (vi) shall be added after sub-rule (v) of Rule 4 of Disaster Management (Term of office and conditions of Service of Members of the State Authority and Pay and Allowances to Member of Advisory Committee) Rules, 2008:-"(vi) The-vice chairman of Disaster Management Authority shall get the facility of personal staff equivalent to Minister of the Bihar State; the members shall get the facility of personal staff equivalent to State Minister of the Bihar State."
