1. Short title and commencement.
(1)These rules may be called the National Capital Territory of Delhi, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep, Daman and Diu, Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Chandigarh (Police Service) Rules, 2018.(2)Save as otherwise provided in sub-rule (2) of rule 3, they shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
