Section 6(1) in The Himachal Pradesh Minor Canals Act, 1976
(1)When a source of supply has been notified by the State Govt. under section 4 and the Collector considers that the construction of a canal to be fed therefrom will be advantageous, he shall give notice by general proclamation to all persons interested of his intension to construct such canal or allow construction of such canal.
