Facts :-
Heard today dated 10.08.2011. Appellant not present. The DGQA is represented by Shri Bhanu Pratap, Director(CPIO) and Ms Asha Anand, Joint Director(Adm.). They are heard and the records perused.
2. It is noticed that vide RTI application dated 24.9.2010, the appellant had sought information on 03 paras regarding permanent secondment of Army officers in DGQA. This was responded to by the CPIO through letter dated 26.11.2010 enclosing therewith a note dated 9.11.2010. On appeal, the Appellate Authority had provided additional information to the appellant. However, in the appeal memo filed before this Commission, the appellant has prayed as follows :-
"All the information as requested by me vide Application No. 49846/Per/RTI/DGQA/10 dated 24 Sep 2010 and even No dated 13 Dec 2010 be provided. If the information is not held in the format asked for, I may be permitted to go through the relevant records/documents to obtain the required information."
3. Shri Bhanu Pratap, however, submits that the requisite information has already been provided to the appellant and the appeal has no merit.
4. Be that as it may, the matter is remanded to Brig. U.K. Upadhyay, DDG(QA)(Officers) with the direction to revisit the matter and decide it afresh after affording an opportunity of hearing to the appellant.
5. The matter is closed at the Commissions end subject to the above direction.
