ORDER
This contempt petition is filed alleging willful disobedience of the order dated 23.10.2024 made in W.P.No.30910 of 2024.
2.The fifth respondent/ The Inspector of Police, E2 – 2/5 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis ( Uploaded on: 24/10/2025 12:24:28 pm ) Contempt Petition No.2991 of 2025 Thirupalaivanam Police Station has filed an affidavit dated 17.10.2025, wherein, in paragraph no.7, it is stated as follows:
'7. It is respectfully submitted that the petitioner was formerly serving as the Village Head of Naduvur Mathakuppam. Subsequently, certain disputes aose within the village, as a result of which the petitioner was removed from the said post. It is further submitted that there has been an ongoing dispute between the petitioner and the opposite parties in relation to the issue of fish harvesting. In connection with the said dispute, the following cases have already been registered against both the petitioner and the opposite parties. Out of the below cases, 6 cases were registered against petitioner and his party members and remaining 8 cases were registered against Opposite Party Members.
