Section 23(1) in The Maharashtra Lokayukta and Upa-Lokayutas Rules, 1974
(1)The Lokayukta or the Upa-Lokayukta, as the case may be, or an officer duly empowered by the Lokayukta, may administer oath to every person examined during any investigation under the Act.
