Section 29(1) in THE COCHIN UNIVERSITY OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY ACT, 1986
(1)The Staff Council shall consist of the following members, namely;The Pro-Vice-chancellor, who shall be the Chairman of the Staff Council;Two members elected by the teachers of th University Departments and Recognised Institutions, from among themselves;Two members elected by the non-teaching staff of the University,from among themselves.Two memberseiected by the members of the Senate from among temselves;Two members elected by the members of the Syndicate, from among themselves.
