Section 16(1) in The Maharashtra Land Revenue (Revenue Surveys and Sub-Divisions of Survey Number) Rules, 1969
(1)When there is no dispute, the survey officer shall, after recording to that effect, lay down the boundary of each sub-division according to the statement made by the holders.
