Section 205 in The Chhattisgarh Motor Vehicles Rules, 1994
205. Prohibition on driving with gear disengaged.
- No person shall drive a motor vehicle on any hill marked by traffic sign No. 9 of the Schedule to the Act, with the engine free that is to say with the gear lever in neutral, the clutch lever depressed or with any free wheel or other device in operation which frees the engine from acting as a brake when the vehicle is travelling down an incline.
