(6)Each Department shall have a Head who shall be appointed in such manner, and shall exercise such powers and perform such functions, as may be prescribed. He shall be responsible to the Dean for the proper organisation and working of the Department, and to the Director of Research, Extension and Farms for the research and extension programmes entrusted to the Department.
