(2)A candidate for the post of Stenographer must have passed the Intermediate Examination of the Board of the High School and Intermediate Education, Uttar Pradesh or an examination recognised by the Government as equivalent thereto and must have a good working knowledge of Hindi in written Devanagri Script.
