Section 13(2) in The Multi-State Co-Operative Societies Rules, 2002
(2)Without prejudice to the provisions sub-section (3) of section 38 of the Act, a multi-State co-operative society with a membership exceeding one thousand may provide in its bye-laws for the constitution of a smaller body. The small body so constituted shall exercise all such powers of the general body as may be specified in the bye-laws.
