(i)The licensing authority, may, if he considers necessary by general or special order, authorise a medical officer to inspect the sanitary condition of any of the places which have been licensed by him under section 5 of the Act and such officers may visit all parts of the premises for purposes of inspection at any time.(ii)Defects revealed by such inspection shall be brought to the notice of the licensee and also be reported to the licensing authority.
