JUDGMENT
Aggrieved by Ext.P2 order, by which the petitioner was demanded to pay a sum of Rs.43163/- being the renewed Kuthakappattom rent, the petitioner approached this court by filing this writ petition.
2. On instruction, the learned Government Pleader submitted that the 2nd respondent-District Collector had informed as per letter No.E1 19499/99 dated 14.2.2000 that the Kuthakappattom from the petitioner need be collected at the previous rate based on Government Order No.G.O.MS 1025/85/RD dated 19.12.85, and no revised rate need be remitted by the petitioner. It is also instructed the Village Officer, Mundakayam, the 4th respondent herein, not to realise the renewed rate of Kuthakappattom. Thus, according to the respondents and the learned Government Pleader, Ext.P2 notice is not in force.

I have perused the written instruction which made available to me for perusal. In the light of the above written instruction, I am of the view that no further orders are necessary in the writ petition. Accordingly, recording the above submission, this writ petition is closed.
