Section 10(10) in The Maharashtra Electricity Regulatory Commission (Consumer Grievance Redressal Forum & Electricity Ombudsman) Regulations, 2006
10.2The appointment or designation of the person(s) as the Electricity Ombudsman shall be made for a period not exceeding three (3) years.Provided that the tenure of the Electricity Ombudsman may be extended by the Commission for a further period not exceeding two (2) years subject to an overall age limit of seventy (70) years.
