The jurisdiction of this Court has been invoked under Articles 226/ 227 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus may kindly be issued in favour of the petitioner directing the respondents not to dispense with the spotless and uninterrupted services of the petitioner from his respective post of Nursing Assistant at ECHS Polyclinic, Gurdaspur and not to replace the petitioner with another contractual employee.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has crossed the maximum prescribed age and therefore, the petition has been rendered infructuous.
Ordered accordingly.
