4. Duration of examinations.
- The examination shall be held at such intervals as the Government may in consultation with the Commission from time to time determine, but at least once in a calendar year unless there are good and sufficient reasons for not doing so and preferably, as far as practicable, after 15 days from the completion of UPSC Civil Services examination at each stage.
