Section 49(a) in The Maharashtra Shops and Establishments Act, 1948
(a)enter, at all reasonable times and with such assistants, if any, being persons in the service of the [Government] [Substituted for the word 'Crown' by the Adaptation of Laws Order, 1950.] or of any local authority as he thinks fit, any place which is or which he has reason to believe is an establishment;
