(1)This Act may be called the Bihar Fire Service Act, 1948.(2)It extends to the whole of the [State] [Substituted by A.L.O.] of Bihar.(3)It applies to local areas specified in Schedule A and to such other local areas as may, from time to time, be notified by the [State] [Substituted by A.L.O.] Government in the Official Gazette in this behalf.
