Section 2(t) in Khasi Hills Autonomous District (Appointment and Succession of Syiem, Deputy Syiem, Electors and Rangbah Shnong of Mylliem Syiemship) Act, 2007
(t)"Syiem" means the customary Chief and the Administrative Head of Mylliem Syiemship who is a Khasi male adult belonging to any of the "Lai Kpoh" of the Syiem clan of the Hima and duly appointed under the provisions of this Act.
