Section 8(1) in The U.P. Essential Commodities (Display of Prices and Stocks and Control of Supply and Distribution) Order, 1977
(1)Every wholesaler shall maintain account books, stock register and such other records relating to his business as the State Government may, from time to time, direct and keep them posted up to date and shall furnish such information in respect thereof to the Enforcement Officer as the Enforcement Officer may require.'
